Trades inside the broker session only and stops new entries 6 hours before the Friday close by default.
Gold holiday filter
Pauses around Good Friday, Christmas, New Year and US early-close days such as Thanksgiving.
Spread & daily limit
Optional maximum spread in points and a cap on new entries per day.

Questions
Which broker and account should I use?
Any MT5 broker with XAUUSD works. A low-spread ECN or Raw account is recommended, because entries are stop orders and the trailing steps are small. Run the EA on a VPS for 24/5 operation.
What is the minimum deposit?
$500 is a comfortable start with 0.01 lot steps. Smaller balances can use a cent account. In Risk % mode the EA lowers the lot automatically if free margin is not enough.
Does it use martingale, grid or averaging?
No. Only one position is open at a time, every order has a stop loss and take profit attached, and the lot is never increased to recover a loss.
Does it stop trading during news?
The panel shows upcoming USD news for the next 72 hours, but the EA does not pause on news. It pauses before the Friday close and around gold market holidays. You can also limit trading days and the maximum spread.
Which timeframe should I attach it to?
Attach it to an XAUUSD chart. The EA always reads M15 bars for its signals, whatever chart timeframe you open.
How often does it trade?
The backtest made 1,100 trades from January 2024 to October 2026, about one or two per trading day. The average trade lasted 3 hours 23 minutes, and most trades close the same day.
